Wow what a day. We all can’t believe how lucky we’ve all been with the weather! and what another amazing day we’ve had.
An early start saw us heading around to Marahau to go walking and kayaking in the Abel Tasman. We had an awesome start with kayaking on the glassy smooth Tasman sea then (what I think) was a gruelling walk (my legs are still hurting) though i think i’m the only one who feels that way.
We’re having a group dinner tonight too as its the last night on the trip! r

Today was our biggest day on a coach, well we covered more distance than any other day.
We’re going from Franz all the way up to Nelson. We had plenty of stops along the way. We also dropped off two of our members in Hokitika and picked two more up in Greymouth.
We explored the Gold Room in Hoki, untold amounts of money could be spent in there by wives with unbeknowing generous husbands! We also saw the Pancake Rocks in Punakaiki, then on up to Nelson.
All in all a long day and we were all very greatfull to get off the coach.

Today we’re on our way with Newman’s from Queenstown up to Christchurch. Great trip with lots to see and some amazing views through the Haast Pass.
When we get into Franz we’re off with Glacier Eco Tours to see the glacier, with some light commentary from Mike.
Good day on a coach, and not an overly early morning.

They all survived, nobody was splattered across the bottom of the Shotover Gorge!
We had a great morning out at the Canyon Swing, awesome guys out there and a great setup! Everyone jumped too! Some oscar worthy screaming came out of the girls this morning, and being in the canyon you can just imagine the resounding echo!
This afternoon we’re off Jet Boating, and some are going over to Walter Peak for the farm tour too.
Wish us luck, no one to fall off a boat now!

What a fantastic day…the guys haven’t actually seen Queenstown yet, we arrived in the dark, left this morning in the dark, and got back tonight in the dark, but Milford today was well and truly worth it!
Spectacular day, blue sky’s most of the way again today! With a brilliant cruise on Red Boat, who hosted us for a huge buffet dinner again plus champagne, so big thank you to them too!
Also our driver today, Wayne, brilliant dude, great sense of humor!
No losses in people too, no people went swimming, fell off a cliff or broke an arm! All in all an awesome day, with some brilliant views, and people managed to fly out too, they had a great trip.
Tomorrow we’ve got Canyon Swinging, Jet Boating and Farm Tours up our sleeves! And also another fine day with a high of 5 degress! Bring it ON!!

Well we’ve had a brilliant day on Great Sights with an excellent driver Dave!
We couldn’t have asked for better weather too, gourgeous blue sky day in Tekapo and Mt Cook, but we got through to the Lindis Pass and low cloud hadn’t lifted all day there was haw frost all the way through there!
Hermitage hosted us for lunch, and fabulous food and so much of it too which was great!
Now we’ve checked into the Novotel hotel and the rooms are brilliant, we’re soon going to meet down stairs for dinner, we’re off to the Skyline Gondola.
Also heard on the grapevine that tonight in Queenstown there is going to be a minus 5 frost, but it means for a brilliant day in Milford tomorrow, which hopefully will mean good things for those who have choosen to fly out!
Anyway will drop you a line tomorrow and let you know how things are going!

Well, after pulling out most of my hair, far too many emails the famil was totally organised, and everyone knew what they were doing.
And now, to add to that point, there are 11 of us sitting on the coach heading towards Mt Cook and Queenstown with two more to pick up along the way!
Last night some of us went out to Ko Tane as well (hearing Lisa scream with fright was well worth it)
So more than please that everyone arrived into Christchurch in one piece, inlcuding our three Islanders (Lisa from Wellington, Hayley from Napier and Kazumi from Porirua)
Watch this space andI’ll kepp you all posted as to waht happens along the way!

My goodness, more and more people are joining the trip, we have very nearly filled the trip, which is great, I thought it might have just been me and maybe two or three other people sitting on a coach for a while, so brilliant!
